Haosong Yang
Professor and Chair, Department of Acting
Haosong Yang is a Chinese American actor, director, and professor. He holds a PDU member of the Actors Studio and alongside SDC, ATE, MICHA, CAATA, and EWPS. He starred in Bayard Street (premiered at TCL Chinese Theatre) in Hollywood, and Starring Jerry As Himself (premiered at IFC NYC). Other works he has acted in have been eligible for submissions to the Oscar and BAFTA awards. Acting/directing credits include The Boor, Butterflies Are Free, A Doll’s House, Vampire Masquerade/Gan Jiang and Mo Ye (China National·Moganshan Administration Bureau Grants), and How to Kill a Whale (Beijing Entrepreneurs’ Environmental Protection Fellowship). His Mentors include Tim Robbins at the Actors’ Gang , Christopher Bayes at Yale, James Kerr (NT, UK), and Anne Bogart (SITI Company). He has extensively honed his craft in acting with David Strasberg, Susan Aston, Jacqueline Knapp, Jacqueline Jacobus, Laura Leyva, Dr. Brian Rhinehart, Carol Rosenfeld, and Lenard Petit. Marneen Fields is a multi-talented award-winning scriptwriter, ASCAP composer, SAG actress, former Hollywood stuntwoman, best-selling international author, and pop-blues/soft rock artist. With a career spanning over 47 years in the entertainment industry, Marneen has made significant contributions in acting, music, writing, and filmmaking.
She has appeared in over 150 films, TV shows, web series, and music videos, collaborating with A-list directors, actors, and producers like Clint Eastwood, Stanley Kramer, and Michael Caine. Marneen is recognized as one of the most prominent stuntwomen of the 70s and 80s, known as Hollywood’s Original Fall Girl.
As the CEO and Creative Director of Heavenly Waterfall Productions, she is also making her directorial debut with the award-winning screenplay “Who’s Gonna Take Care of Me?” A true drama addressing mental illness and homelessness.
Marneen has been honored with nearly 100 awards across film and music, and her works, including “The Illusive Craft of Acting” and her autobiography “Cartwheels & Halos”, have gained worldwide recognition. Paul Wagar

Paul Wagar is the Head of the Department of Dialogue at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and a Dialogue Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is an accomplished actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the UK and has served as a voice coach for the BBC. Paul has also held the position of Artistic Director at the Philadelphia Theatre. His notable works include The Taming of the Shrew and Cloud Nine. With his extensive experience in both performance and teaching, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the craft of dialogue and voice training.
Brian Rhinehart, PhD

For the past twenty years, Brian has worked primarily as a director of devised theatre and collaborative playmaking, receiving numerous national and international grants to create ensemble-based performances. He is a Fulbright and TEDx teaching scholar, and his productions have been seen in Italy, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Poland, Scotland, Germany, and the U.S. Brian is a part-time instructor at S.W.U.F.E in Chengdu, and Born Drama Studio in Beijing, China, and has given master-classes and workshops on acting, comedy acting, Improv, and Devising in the U.S., Central America, Europe and Asia. For the past twelve years he worked as an actor with the company Forum for Arts and Culture in Heersum, Germany, and in 2007 he served as Assistant Director of the first national Broadway tour of The Wedding Singer. He was a member of the 2006 Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab and was named “Best Director” of the 2001 New York International Fringe Festival for the play Einstein’s Dreams. The plays/performances he has written or co-written have been seen in the New York International Fringe Festival and a variety of venues, from Off-Off Broadway to the site-specific. He is an internationally published scholar on the subject of contemporary theatre and is co-author of a book on comedy acting, titled Comedy Acting for Theatre: The Art and Craft of Performing in Comedies, published by Bloomsbury/Methuen. He has an MFA in Directing from the Actors Studio Drama School and a PhD in English from the University of Florida.
John McPhee

Henning Rübsam

Henning Rübsam is a distinguished professor at the State University of New York at Purchase and a guest artist at the Texas Ballet Theater. His work has been featured multiple times at the Lincoln Center in New York City. Henning is a recipient of the Manhattan Spirit Award for “Best Dancer” and has collaborated with numerous Oscar and Tony Award-winning artists, including Martha Hill, Elizabeth Keen, and Stanley Donen. He is currently the Artistic Director of Sensedance and a resident choreographer at the Hartford City Ballet. Henning’s choreography has been featured in prestigious publications like Dance Magazine, Pointe Magazine, and Ballet Review. He is a graduate of the Juilliard School, and his wealth of experience continues to inspire both students and professionals in the dance world.
Gari Jones

Gari Jones is a distinguished British playwright, director, theatre producer, and expert in Shakespeare and Harold Pinter studies. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he is currently a faculty member in the Directing Department at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Gari’s works have been performed around the world, including at prestigious venues such as London’s West End, the Lincoln Center in the U.S., the National Theatre in the UK, the Almeida Theatre, the Old Vic, and the Edinburgh Festival. His major works include Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice, The Misanthrope (by Molière), Julius Caesar, The Accidental Death of an Anarchist, and The Caucasian Chalk Circle. Gari brings a wealth of practical experience and scholarly expertise to his teaching, inspiring the next generation of directors and theatre artists.
Chip Rybak

Chip Rybak is an experienced educator and theatre professional with over 15 years in the American theatre and film industry. He has worked with renowned actors such as Christopher Meloni (True Blood, Man of Steel) and Karen Allen (Indiana Jones). Chip teaches at the prestigious Hartford Stage Company in New York and brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to his students. His educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University, as well as studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AMADA), the Moscow Art Theatre, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. With his diverse experience and training, Chip inspires and mentors the next generation of actors and performers.
Giovanni Moriconi

Giovanni Moriconi has been a prominent figure in the TV and film industry for over 35 years. His career began as an Editor for National Television R.A.I., and in 1996, he became the Post Production Supervisor for Orbit Television, a pioneering fully digital satellite TV company. Giovanni has extensive experience with editing systems such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Filmlight Baselight, and Da Vinci Resolve.
Currently, Giovanni is involved in several exciting projects, including the development of two feature films, The Movers and Men and Other Inconvenient, and a Vietnam War film set to be shot in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Bangkok, and Hanoi Ha-Long Bay. He has also released two documentaries in 2024: Viva Verdi! and Homeless, which delve into the lives of celebrated opera singers in Milan and the stories of five people in Las Vegas experiencing homelessness.
Giovanni has worked on a wide range of films, including Shoot Or Die, Senior Moment, Senior Entourage, The Unhealer, Tango Shalom, The Bronx Bull, and Iron Cross: The Road to Normandie. He continues to expand his work through teaching Acting Methods Workshops in Canton, with his next session scheduled for March.

With a passion for acting that began at the age of 5, Joss has built a diverse and successful career across multiple fields. He studied Law and Communications, and his acting credits include roles in Ocean’s 11 and Rush Hour 2.
As a director, Joss has worked on projects such as Among Us and Team of Two, and as an entrepreneur, he founded MAGIC IMAGE HOLLYWOOD MAGAZINE. In addition, he produces numerous Hollywood events, contributing to the entertainment industry in various creative and business capacities.
Jerry G. Velasco

Jerry G. Velasco is a seasoned Actor, Producer, Politician, Fundraising Expert, and Community Activist with over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He is the Co-Founder of the Ricardo Montalban-Nosotros Foundation and Theatre and has run his own multimedia company, Velasco & Associates, since 1982.
Beyond his work in entertainment, Jerry has made significant contributions to his community. He was elected El Monte City Treasurer in 2013 and served as Vice-Mayor of the El Monte City Council in 2015. Currently, he serves as a Los Angeles County Commissioner and Chairperson of the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation, one of the largest non-profits in the U.S. He is also the Chairperson of the San Gabriel Valley Civic Alliance, dedicated to supporting both children and seniors in the community.
Mariano Mendoza

Mariano Mendoza, also known as “Big Dawg,” is a highly accomplished stuntman, actor, and producer with over 160 TV and movie appearances, including roles in Better Call Saul, Training Day, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. His success in martial arts and media led him to be featured in video games such as MMA Supremacy and Saints Row 3.
In 2017, Mariano released his short video autobiography, The Untold Story of Mariano Mendoza, which explores his rise as a Hispanic martial artist and actor. Mariano continues to celebrate his achievements and expand his experience in both industries, becoming a prominent figure in media and martial arts.
Pete Allman

Pete Allman is a renowned figure in the entertainment industry, known for his work as the star and producer of American Comedy. With over 40,000 celebrity interviews, Pete has had the privilege of speaking with legends such as Anthony Quinn, Anthony Hopkins, Magic Johnson, Mike Tyson, and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
In addition to producing Brando Unauthorized, Killer Priest, and Vatos Locos, Pete has had a successful career in television, producing shows like CMX Sports and Entertainment and The Las Vegas Hollywood Report. He also entertained with The Pete Allman Revue in Las Vegas and hosts the Christian international show The Lord Reigns.
Currently, Pete is producing Donald’s World, where he plays President Trump, and the faith-based film Empty Dreams, directed by Sy Richardson. Blanca Samperio is a multifaceted artist with a rich career as a film, television, and theater actress, professional dancer, choreographer, teacher, film producer, and director. Her journey began before the age of five in Mexico, and she made her film debut in Under Fire (1983) alongside Nick Nolte and Gene Hackman.
Blanca pursued her passion for the arts at the Center of the Arts in Dallas, Texas, where she earned scholarships and recognition. She later founded her own dance and theater school, Danza Blanca Academy, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, and expanded to other locations in Texas.
In addition to her acting career, Blanca has made a name for herself in filmmaking, screenwriting, and producing. She has earned nominations and awards for her work, with films like Reto a Muerte, Corruption, Bavardage, and What Does It Mean? premiering at renowned theaters, including the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Upon returning to the U.S., Katarina dedicated four years to studio management in Temple City, overseeing creative productions, rentals, marketing, and operations. In 2025, she took the next step in her career by becoming a studio owner, curating a space for filmmakers, photographers, content creators, and students. Jin Y is a highly experienced film and television professional with over 10 years in the industry. Holding a Master’s degree from a European university, Jin has a broad skill set, including post-production, cinematography, and assistant directing, with an impressive track record of producing award-winning content.
Jin’s notable works include the city image MV for Xishuangbanna (Let Me Understand Your Language), promotional videos for Cixi and Luqiao, and microfilms such as Wuzhen, which won the “Most Promising New Star” award at Tengxin Video’s My Beautiful Zhejiang competition. Jin has also contributed to numerous documentaries, public service ads, and promotional videos, winning recognition at the Zhejiang Provincial Green Public Service Ad Contest and the “Most Beautiful Chinese New Year” awards.
As the leader of Jin Version Independent Studio, Jin has transformed the studio into a top-tier visual service provider with an outstanding production team and a global new media operations team. The studio specializes in content creation, media operations, and visual marketing, offering high-quality services to enterprises, businesses, and individuals.
Dilare Erkin

Dilare Erkin is an award-winning professional dancer and experienced dance teacher, recognized for her exceptional skills and strong work ethic. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Performance Art from George Mason University and an Associate’s Degree from North Virginia Community College. Dilare has an impressive competition record, including first place at the 2006 Asian Hong Kong Sports Dance Championship, the 2009 Latin Dance Championship at the Shanghai WDC DanceSport Championship, and second place in the group dance category at the 2010 British World Blackpool Dance Festival.
Dilare is currently preparing for the All-American DanceSport Championship. With expertise in advanced choreography design and personal training techniques, she helps clients increase their aerobic fitness, flexibility, and overall well-being. Dilare has been recognized with several scholarships and awards, including an academic scholarship to the Academy of Arts in Beijing, China, and has consistently been a Latin finalist in major competitions.
Junwei Lin

Junwei Lin is a skilled artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration Entertainment Arts from the Artcenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA. He is proficient in a range of design software, including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Procreate, Maya, Blender, and Sketchup. Junwei’s expertise spans visual development, background painting, storyboarding, character design, narrative illustration, and pen and ink painting.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Junwei brings a unique perspective to his work, combining technical proficiency with creative storytelling. His broad skill set makes him a versatile and valuable asset to any artistic team.
