Robert E. Schuenemann
Vice Principle
Robert E. Schuenemann is a seasoned musician, writer, and educator with a passion for music and performance. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Robert’s musical journey began at the age of eight with piano lessons and quickly evolved into playing bass guitar and performing with bands. He gained early experience in “Battles of Bands” and went on to perform with notable artists including James Brown, Bob Seger, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and many others, performing in 46 states and internationally.
Robert earned degrees in Music Performance and English Composition from Citrus College and California State University Fullerton. He later pursued his Teaching Credentials and Masters in English at California Baptist University. Now a published writer, poet, lyricist, and professor, Robert continues to inspire students with his expertise in music, performance, and creative expression.
Arthur Peng
Vice Principle
Arthur Peng is a Chinese-American writer, actor, and bilingual host who has made significant contributions to both the literary and entertainment worlds. He is the author of English-Chinese Dictionary of Anthropology and is soon to release a collection of personal essays titled My Journey. Arthur has participated in various film projects, including feature films, short films, and stage plays (IMDb name: Arthur Peng).
In addition to his writing and acting career, Arthur has hosted hundreds of events in both Chinese and English, including art exhibitions, literary discussions, book launches, music concerts, and film festivals. He served as the two-term president of the Los Angeles Chinese Writers Association of North America and as the Secretary General of the North America Chinese Writers Association from 2016 to 2023. Arthur is also the Vice President of both the Hollywood Film Academy and the North America Chinese Writers Association.
Lynn Yu
Secretary
Lynn Yu holds a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of San Francisco and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Raven University. With over 15 years of experience in brand marketing management, Lynn currently serves as the Brand Marketing Director at a leading international education group in China. She has a proven track record in driving marketing success and has managed over 34 subsidiaries and campuses, with a sales volume exceeding 1.6 billion.
Lynn has played a pioneering role as a producer of the first Chinese-language online television in Silicon Valley. She is a member of the North American Chinese Media Association, Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Overseas Students Union, and Executive Dean at the Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Economic Development Center Business School. Her extensive background in integrated marketing, media communications, and new media marketing has earned her recognition as an outstanding professional manager and team leader.
At the American Hollywood Film Academy, Lynn will lead efforts to build strong cross-border collaboration platforms, enhancing the Academy’s presence in the Chinese market and fostering innovative opportunities in the film and media industries between China and the U.S.
